Many of you know the name, know that “Prairie” style is the architectural design he’s most famous for, and tend to recognise his work by name – for instance:
William H. Winslow House, River Forest, IL;
Ward W. Willits House, Highland Park, IL;
Frederick C. Robie House, Chicago, IL
You also know that this house was actually built over a waterfall:
But, did you know that Frank Lloyd Wright appeared on the national television show “What’s My Line?” In 1956 when black & white tv wasn’t considered “retro.”
